On 22nd December 2011, Asst. Prof. C Krishna kumar along with 10 students attended a one day national level seminar on “Recent Development in Mathematics” organized by the Department of Mathematics, S.T. Hindu College, Nagercoil.
Miss. J. Sugantha M. Sc ,M.Phil, B.Ed. and Mrs . Subet Selin.M.Sc, M.Phil were joined as faculty members.
The academic year started for the students on 15th June 2012
On 31ST August 2012, two of our third year students,K. Merlia Belsi and K. Sujitha participated in a seminar organized by St. John’s College, Ammandivilai, and presented a paper on “Fuzzy sets”.
In the same year Mrs. Subet Selin.M.Sc, M.Phil was relieved and Miss. Amala Lisy joined as a faculty member.
On 18th June 2013 Mrs.N.Jeya Sudha M.Sc, M.Phil and Miss . M. Judit Nisha M.Sc, M.Phil, B.Ed. joined as faculty members.
In this year M.Sc Mathemetics course was introduced successfully.
On 20th June 2013, the classes were began for the U.G students and for the P.G students the classes commenced on 5th August.
On 23rd September 2013, Asst. Prof.Miss. M. Judit Nisha along with 20 students from III B.Sc Maths participated in the state level seminar on “Recent Development in Graph Theory” organized by the Department of Mathematics, by St. John’s College,Ammandivilai.
On 26th February 2014, 3 of our students, J. Jency, N.Saranya and D.Saranya participated in “ Mathematics quiz Competition” conducted by department of Mathematics, M. S. University , Tirunelveli.
On 17th March 2014, Twelve of our students from I M.Sc Maths along with Asst. Prof. Miss R.Subha participated in one day workshop on “NET/SET Guidance in Mathematics” organized by department of mathematics ,Holy Cross College, Nagercoil.

On 17th June the classes commenced for the students.
On 28th August 2014 we have conducted a National level seminar on Recent Advancement in Discrete mathematics and application of Mathematics:” Rifana from I M.Sc Maths and Pavithra from I B.Sc Maths participated in the paper presentation Competition

We have condected Mathemetical model presentation and quiz competitions for our students in the month of February.
Miss.Otto Asst.Prof along with 25 students from III B.Sc Maths participated a National level Seminar on “The Recent Developments in Graph Theory” organized by the department of mathematics, Holy Cross College, Nagercoil.
Miss. Kalai Vani Asst.Prof along with three of our students from III B.Sc Mathematics participated in a Quiz Competition organized by the dept. of Maths, Ayyappa College for Women”s ,Chunkankadai.

On 15th March 2016 asst.Prof.N. Jeya sudha along with 25 students of I M.Sc maths attended a National level Seminor on “Analysis and Discrete Mathematics” in Holy Cross College, Nagercoil.
On 15th March 2016 14 students of II M.Sc Maths and 10 students of III B.Sc Maths along with the Asst. Prof. A.Amala Lisy participated in one day seminar on CSIR NET Examination awareness programme.

On February 12th 2016 Department of Mathematics in St. Jerome’s College conducted a one day Intercollegiate on “Career Guiance”.
On March 15th 2016 the I M.Sc students along with Asst. Prof. Jaya Sudha participated one day national level seminar on “_______________” conducted by Holy Cross College ,Nagercoil.
On March 15th 2016 the II M.Sc students along with Asst. Prof. Berla Jayanthi participated one day national level seminar on “_______________” conducted by Muslim arts college, Thackalay.
On March 18th 2016 the II M.Sc students along with a staff participated one day national level seminar on “_______________” conducted by Department of Mathematics,Vivekanantha College, Kanyakumari.
On 18th March 2016, 20 students from II and III maths along with a staff participated one day Symposium and competition organised by Department of Mathematics N. I college of Art and Science,Kumarankovil. The students from II maths namely Sharron won the 1st prize in the quiz competition.S.Vidhya (III Maths) won the 2nd prize in the Mathematical Model Presentation and Renuka (II maths) won the 3rd prize in the same. Sharron (II Maths) won the 2nd prize In Mathematical Poster Presentation. Jency and Subi (III Maths) and 3 of 1st year students won 1st Prize in folk dance. The students from II P.G namely Dhorathi,Ambika,Rifana,Brindha,Shahira Shanu won the 3rd prize in western Dance.
On 21st August 2016,2 students from III B.Sc and a student from I M.Sc Maths participated in a quiz competition along with Asst. Prof. G. Lavanya , Organized by the Dep. Of Maths. St.John’s College of Art and Science, Ammandivilai. And won the third Prize.
On 19th September 2016. Department of Mathematics in St. Jerome’s College conducted a one day Intercollegiate Mathematical Model Presentation. The Resource Person was Mr. Rajesh B.T.Assistant, Govt.Hr.Sec.School, Viruthunagar.
On 3rd October a Quiz Competition was conducted by the Dept of Mathematics for the students.
On 15th Feb 2017, Department of Mathematics, St. Jerome’s College conducted a one day State Level Seminar on “Recent Trends in Algebra & Graph Theory”. Dr. J. Paulraj Joseph Prof. and Head, Department of Mathematics, M.S. University Tirunelveli and Dr. A. Vethamanickam, Associate Professor of Mathematics, Rani Anna College Tirunelveli were the Resource Persons.
On 25th January 2018 organised Intercollegiate mathematical model presentation. The resource per4son was Mr. S.Rajesh.
On 30-01-2018, the Dept of Mathematics conducted one day Mathematical Exhibition for school students. More than 250 school students visited.
On 22nd February 2018 dep.of maths organised an one day educational tour for the frinal year students.
On 22nd August 2018 the dept. organized an industrial visit for final year students
On 5th October 2018 organised a industrial visit to TVM Planetorium.
On 21and 22 Feb 2019 three students from II M.Sc along with a staff participated a national seminar on pure and applied mathematics organised by the department of mathematics, Annai Velankanni College, Tholayavattam, Karungal.
On 24 th February 2019 two students from II M.Sc Namely S.A. Marina Shamlin and P.A. Francis Femina Petrise ,participated one day international seminar on “ Network Modeling by graphs and synthetic approach in pattern recognition. Organized by department of mathematics Holy Cross College.
On 7th February 2019 department of mathematics organised one day national Conference on “Recent Trends in Mathematics” Over 400 students from various colleges participated in this event.
On 20th February 2019 department of mathematics of Nanjil Catholic College, Kaliakkavilai organised one day national seminar on “ Recent trend in applicable mathematics” Students of II M.Sc went to participate it.
On 22nd February 2019 the II M. Sc students participated one day seminar on “ Advanced topics in Fuzzy System” organised by Department of mathematics St .Teresa Arts and Science College.
